Postpartum Doula Services

How I Support Your Family

During daytime visits, support is tailored to your needs and may include:

  • Answering questions and offering reassurance as you adjust to parenthood

  • Helping ease worries and normalize the emotions of early postpartum

  • Teaching newborn care, soothing techniques, and parenting skills aligned with your values

  • Providing feeding support and helping troubleshoot common breastfeeding challenges

  • Offering hands-on support with your baby so you can rest, shower, or eat

  • Supporting older siblings as they adjust to their new role

  • Light household tasks such as tidying, folding laundry, washing bottles, or preparing simple snacks

My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel empowered and supported — not overwhelmed.

What Postpartum Doula Support Is Not

To ensure expectations are clear, postpartum doula care focuses on support and education rather than replacement care.

  • I do not take over your role as a parent.

  • I am not a babysitter — parents are typically home during visits so we can work together and build confidence.

  • I do not perform deep cleaning or major household tasks such as bathrooms, yard work, or heavy chores.

Postpartum Support Pricing

Daytime postpartum support is available Monday through Friday between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM, offering practical help, guidance, and reassurance as your family adjusts to life with your newborn.

Support is provided at a rate of $35 per hour, with a minimum booking of 4 hours per visit. This allows enough time to settle in, provide meaningful support, and meet the unique needs of your family without feeling rushed.
