About Me

My journey into birth work began with my own experiences becoming a mother.

When I was pregnant with my first baby, I planned for a home birth. I felt excited and prepared — until labor intensified and I reached transition. In that overwhelming moment, fear crept in and I chose to transfer to the hospital. My birth was still beautiful, but afterward I realized something important: if I had a steady, knowledgeable support person by my side — someone grounded and experienced — I likely would have felt confident enough to continue with the home birth I had envisioned.

That realization stayed with me.

When I became pregnant with my second, I approached birth differently. With deeper preparation and the right support, I went on to have a beautiful home birth experience. Both of my births shaped me in meaningful ways, and together they inspired me to become a doula — to offer families the kind of steady, informed support I learned firsthand can make such a difference.

My Work as a Doula

For the past six years, I have supported families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum across a wide range of experiences. I have attended hospital births, medicated and unmedicated births, VBACs and HBACs, and have worked with families around the world providing prenatal education and emotional postpartum support.

My approach is gentle, supportive, and grounded in the belief that there is no single “right” way to give birth. Every family deserves balanced information, compassionate care, and the confidence to make choices that feel right for them.

My Philosophy

I believe birth changes you. It marks the beginning of a new identity — not only for your baby, but for you as a parent. Because of that, no one should move through pregnancy, birth, or postpartum feeling alone or unsupported.

My role is not to direct your experience, but to walk alongside you — offering education, reassurance, and steady support so you feel empowered and cared for throughout the journey.

Beyond Birth Work

I’m also a mom of two, a wife, and the owner of Cozy Little Sleepers, where I support families in navigating infant and toddler sleep with a gentle, connection-based approach. Supporting families through both birth and early parenting allows me to continue caring for parents well beyond delivery day.
